This is the garden Sophie and I designed for Roz.  We made a pond and a swing on the tree  with a goose house.

This is my robot. I designed this robot with Enora. We used grey paper and tin foil muffin  tins, and straws and tape and vivid and  cardboard.

Swimming lessons

                                        Swimming Lessons 

Every year, in winter, when the pool isn't busy we go swimming. 

I was so happy to go swimming. I just love it when you do different styles. 

I was dreading it when I had to pack my bag every morning. But I did it. 

First day of swimming lessons. Classmates rushing to get first in line. I always came 1st, 2nd , 3rd or 4th. It was a close one. Using my manners in the bus.

 Sat right in the front seat waiting for my friends. Arrived at the pool. So cold clinging to my bag and jersey. Lined up as I took my shoes and socks off. We went inside with sore cold feet. Chucked my shoes in the black cube shelves. Fast walking to the girls changing room. Took the 1st locker. I got dressed in my soggy togs and my goggles. 

I've been waiting for its swim time. I lined up waiting for kids to get in the line. Listening to the swim coaches telling us to do 2 lengths of freestyle in the lan pool. So we lined up. 

It’s my turn shaking on the platform. I pushed my legs off the wall and slowly went in the pool. I clapped my hands over and around waiting to touch the end. I ran out of breath when I finished. 

When we were finished swimming. I grappeed my bag in prodness and tiredness and got dressed into our uniform.

 Once i done i got my shoes and socks on and i wonderd how did i went in swimming was i good enough.

Landscape

My art is inspired by Cromwell. I tried doing a crumbly bluey lake with steep  mountains in the background.
I tried putting it in the night, as you can see there is gold lanterns in the background.
Every winter in Cromwell we have  a light up festival  and people let out lanterns that disappear in  the night sky . I thought of doing this crumbly twisty lake with different types  of blues because we live beside a lake. When I see this art it makes me feel happy and proud of my art.

Buzzy bee collage

I chose to do a Maori pattern on my bee because I'm part Maori. I also put it in Cromwell by the big fruit.
I tried putting detail in it. It was kinda hard but it was fun. I'm really proud of my art.

Zebra story

On a blue sunny day there was a loud growly echo through the valley.

A big black and white stripy zebra came charging  to the stream .

It had a big hairy ear and massive yellow dirty teeth and a nice stripy pattern.

Then i heard a slurping  i think the zebra was hungry.

Then suddenly a boom came from the opening of the valley.

The zebra paused and stared and stared and it didn't look happy.

But it was only the bomb fire next door.

Then a massive bucket full of appel's went  everywhere i wonder why.

So i turned around the stripey zebra left in a hurry I didn't know where it went and what happend.

I just kept walking and then there was no sign of the zebra again.

My story starter

One day I went on a bumpy car ride to the Alexandra circus. As I went into the big colourful tent I saw a bright yellow hen working hard in the ice cream stand. And there was yummy looking ice cream flavours. I chose are chocolate double scoop ice cream on a cone then we made our way to our seats. The ring master welcomed us and danced and joked alot.

I saw a flying clown, and I also saw are dolphin going through fire rings and heaps of other amazing stuff. When it was finished I walked out with a smiling face but then it was time to go home. But before we left we said goodbye and thank you to the yellow hen that had the best ice cream in the world.

Letter to Miss Tapp

Dear Miss Tapp

Me and my family are safe and well.
I have been doing heaps of baking and feeding my family me and mum made carrot cake, I made eggs in a hole and also biscuits and heaps of other stuff.
I have also been making Tik Toks with my family heaps of funny cool dances.
I also have been loving talking to my friends through google meets.
I also wanna say Happy Easter we had the most funniest day even though we are in lock down, its still been heaps of fun.
I hope you had a good Easter too.
